Pens are the highest-distribution item in promotional products and the one most often bought on price alone. That is usually a mistake. A seed pen has a plantable end that grows wildflowers or herbs, which makes it a conversation piece at events rather than a desk item. Minimum order quantities are set per item, typically 100 to 250 pieces. Spoilage of up to 3% is covered and artwork is retained for two years.
