- Polyester only. It will not take on cotton, and white is the only usable base.

What to know about Dye Sublimation
The ink turns to gas under heat and bonds with the polyester itself. It is not sitting on the fabric, it has become part of it — which is why there is no edge to feel, nothing to crack, and no seam where the design stops. Press a jersey printed this way against a screen-printed one and you can tell the difference with your eyes closed.
Two hard limits, and neither is negotiable. It needs polyester, or a polymer coating on a hard item; cotton will not hold it. And it only works light to dark on a white or very pale base, because there is no white ink — the color of the blank is your lightest tone.
Inside those limits, coverage is free. A design that bleeds off every edge costs exactly what a chest logo costs, because the press runs once either way. So if you are going to use this method, use it properly: all-over patterns, seam-to-seam graphics, the things nothing else can do.
Send artwork sized for the finished piece with bleed included. Production runs 7–10 business days after proof approval.
