Canvas weight is the spec that separates a tote people keep from one that gets thrown out. Lightweight cotton around 5oz is the cheapest and works for a one-day conference giveaway. Heavy canvas at 10oz or above holds its shape when empty, carries books and groceries without stretching, and is what you want if the bag is meant to be seen in public for years. Screen printing is standard and gets cheaper per unit fast as quantity rises, since the screen cost is fixed. One or two spot colors on natural canvas is the classic, most cost-effective look. Gussets matter: a flat tote lies neatly but holds little, while a gusseted base takes a laptop or a shoebox. Jute and laminated options read as more sustainable and more premium respectively. Minimum order quantities are set per item, typically 100 to 250 pieces.
