Promotional Items Under $1

Sub-dollar promotional items exist for one job: reach. When you need something in the hand of every person walking past a booth, every attendee at a stadium gate, or every household on a mailing list, unit cost is the constraint that decides whether the campaign happens at all. The trade-off is honest. At this price the item is small, the decoration is usually one color, and nobody is keeping it for five years. What you are buying is impressions per dollar, not longevity. A stress ball at 80 cents that gets squeezed for three weeks on a desk delivers more brand exposure per dollar spent than a $40 jacket given to one person - it is simply a different kind of exposure. Three things separate a good sub-dollar item from a bad one. It should have a use, however small - a bottle opener keychain beats a plain one because it gets picked up. It should survive a bag or a pocket without looking cheap on arrival. And the artwork has to work in one color at small size, which means a bold mark, not a logo with a tagline and a gradient. Avoid anything at this price that people are meant to wear or drink from. Cost has to come out somewhere, and on apparel and drinkware it comes out of the parts that matter. Minimum order quantities are set per item and are usually higher in this band - the economics only work at volume. We keep your artwork on file for two years.
